Tim Rickett
Tim Rickett is a collector and creator of the unusual. Spending most of his life in Western Nebraska, he is influenced by railway life, toys, and miniatures. Rickett creates quirky, macabre sculptures and collages shaped by fantasy and industrial aesthetics. He graduated from Hastings College in 2016 with a BA in Studio Art with a focus in Sculpture and completed his MFA at East Carolina University in 2019. He is currently working as the Interim 3D Media Instructor at Northern State University in Aberdeen, South Dakota. He is the co-creator of the art shop Midwest Nice. When he’s not teaching, you can find him glassblowing, rummaging through garage sales, or hanging out with his brave dogs, Winnie and Nellie.
